The anaerobic digestion is a biological process in which, in the absence of oxygen, the organic substance is converted in biogas (or biological gas), made mainly of methane and carbon dioxide. The digester is fed with different types of organic substances, for example:
- animal dejections
- scraps of slaughtering
- mud depuration
- energetic cultures
Entec can offer its support to the farms and the animal husbandry companies that have the use of large quantities of organic biomasses suitable for the anaerobic digestion. Entec conceives and realizes anaerobic digestion plants for the production of electrical and thermal energy with the following targets:
- to increase the value of the products of the farm (see energetic cultures)
- to use with profit some substances that otherwise will represent a waste disposal cost.
- to get benefits expected by the current available incentives (all-comprehensive tariff according to law 222, energy efficiency qualifications)
